I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to learn new technologies that will prove to be motivating and relevant for our students in the classroom. I can't wait to try them out. Thank you so much for putting together this amazing weekend. I've started promoting Scratch, Alice and Hackety Hak to teachers already. And by they way Why the Lucky Stiff....if you decide to give up your job as a "free lance professor" you could make it big in late night comedy. Also, one question for anyone who can help me with this. Can anyone tell me what technology was used to make this You Tube video and could you provide some guidance on creating something similar? Gnarls Barkley - Mystery Man found at this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M3MV4HTN-Ks&feature=related Thanks so much!

Thanks for the nice comment Geoffrey, great meeting everyone and hope to keep the "educator" discussion going!

Some conferences are fun, or useful, or neither, but this was both. I'm really glad I came. So many things were nice, but I was absolutely blown away by Dan Shiffman's workshop. I'm so glad Golan introduced us to Oskar Fischinger's films.

The film work by Oskar Fischinger was outstanding. The connection between his work and the work by artist work showed at Pittsburgh Film makers. Lori Hepner exbhit, "Code Words" shows and explores the mutations that language can have when translated to binary code through organic performances of silk being bleached and disolvingl.
