THIS WORKSHOP IS NOW FILLED.
The Scratch programming toolkit was developed at the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at MIT Media Lab, and is being used in formal and informal classrooms to teach everything from mathematics to interactive journalism. If you're an educator, stop by to get an introduction to Scratch and its capabilities, see examples of classroom use, and get tips on how to get started with Scratch in your own classroom. No prior experience with Scratch is necessary.
Level: This introductory Saturday morning workshop, led by Evelyn Eastmond, is intended for Educators. (The Saturday afternoon Scratch workshop is intended for young people!)
